Get to Know Shay Aslett

Shay Aslett is a born & raised Provo native and long time resident of Historic Downtown Provo. Growing up in south Provo, graduating from Provo High School and going onto play soccer in college at West Minster & UVU where he graduated with his B of A in integrated studies. 

“Growing up in Provo I always had the strong desire to get out of this place and go and find all the places better than Provo. The more I have traveled the more I have come to appreciate what a rad place Provo is to live and raise a family.”

The western family values that have made Provo great are worth preserving and protecting. Shay believes that it is Provo’s culture that makes it attractive and competitive to families and fostering that culture will be the main focus of his service and effort for Provo.

One of the many things Shay and his family love about living in downtown Provo is the connection to the mountains as well as all the local businesses within walking distance. We love the vibe of downtown. 

Shay works in the recovery industry, coaches soccer at Provo High School, and loves sharing his pirate ship tree house and the Fourth of July traditions with the neighbors in his neighborhood.
